Software Engineer/Developer

Location – Remote

Summary

We are looking for a software engineer/developer to amplify our team as we grow.

Our ideal candidate is an independent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with multiple coding languages. They are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.  Improving our customers’ experience is our business. Each team member is a direct influencer and excited about aggressively solving problems.

Configure is doing something new. It takes curiosity and imagination to inspire our clients. We are looking for those who are eager in seeking out knowledge to understand industry problems and applying creative solutions. Many perspectives of thought sharpen us. Our team members are leaders that are quick to take action, listen, and build together.

We set an upbeat tempo with a blend of design thinking, lean start-up, and agile development sessions. Our team holds daily stand-ups, weekly operation, and planning meetings. No person is left on an island as all hands on deck collaborative meetings are called quickly to bring us together and clear roadblocks. Our developers work in highly collaborative teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Individual duties and responsibilities are set based on individual strengths and team needs. These are communicated to the whole team to set expectations. Each team member reports their action toward duties and responsibilities weekly.

As a team we thrive on feedback and are constantly looking to improve.  Coaching is provided in real time allowing us to sprint to our quarterly goals.  Configure operates on a natural cycle of goal setting, action, and reporting that creates a well-defined expectations for the team.

Qualifications

Candidates should have some experience with:

  • Azure App Services
  • Blazer with css
  • Neo4j graph database

Qualifications that would be nice to have, but not required include:

  • UX/UI
  • Java
  • PWAs
